There are two ways to get the Everywear Performance Pant cheaper at chubbiesshorts.com right now, and they are not close. WELCOME15 took 15% off in my checkout test. On The Khakinators at $94.50, it pulled $14.17 off and brought the item price to $80.33.
The Business Executives, the same Everywear pant in a different colour, is sitting in clearance at $51. That is $43.50 off the same $94.50 list price, or 65%. No code needed.
Chubbies makes swim trunks and shorts, mostly in prints loud enough to see from across a pool, plus workout gear, lounge shorts, pants and shirts. The site has a discount code and a clearance sale running at the same time, and they do very different things to your total.

What WELCOME15 Actually Does
When I tested WELCOME15 at checkout on September 22, 2026, it took 15% off the eligible full-price item in my cart. It goes in the box marked Gift card or discount code, and once it lands the discount shows in three places: under the product line, as a chip in the code box, and in the Total Savings line at the bottom.
Chubbies does not publish the full terms for this code on its public pages, so the checkout total is the only reliable confirmation that it applied.
What it does not cover: the clearance products I checked, including The Business Executives, are marked “Not Eligible for Extra Discount or Promotion.” Clearance items themselves may be excluded from the code.
Where The Real Discounts Are
Chubbies is advertising clearance at up to 65% off, and the tags back it up;
- The Whale Sharks lined swim trunk: $79.50 down to $27.
- The Neon Glades: $69.50 down to $24.
- Cloud-10 Hoodie The Forest Fade: $79.50 down to $27.
- Friday Shirt The En Fuego Wild: $64.50 down to $22 (final sale).
- Everywear Pants The Business Executives: $94.50 down to $51 (final sale).
On that last line, the clearance markdown saves about three times as much as WELCOME15.
Clearance prices vary by category and change as stock moves, so check each collection directly rather than relying on a fixed starting price.
Check Return Eligibility First
This is the part that can cost you. The Business Executives is Final Sale, not eligible for return or exchange. The En Fuego Wild and many swim-clearance products are also final sale.
If fit matters, confirm your size before buying clearance. A full-price item bought with verified discount code is the safer option when you are unsure.
Chubbies Has Several Overlapping Sale Collections
Chubbies currently has separate pages for Clearance, Swim Clearance, Swim $30 and Under, and Deal Drop, and the same print can show up in more than one of them.
The Capes is a good example. The Lined Classic Swim Trunk was listed at $39 from $79.50, while the Classic version was $24 from $69.50. Same print, different product. Check the liner, inseam and exact product type before comparing sale prices across pages.
Deal Drop is worth a separate look. It carries clearance merchandise across several categories, and it is easy to miss if you only open the main Clearance page.
Late September May Help Explain The Deeper Swim Discounts
Summer is over across most of the US, and the number of trunks sitting at $24 to $39 right now fits with a store clearing out summer stock before winter. That is my own read on the timing. Chubbies has not stated it as the reason for the markdowns.

- Want current-season product? Use code on full-price items and check the total at checkout.
- Want swim trunks or shorts and not fussy about the print? Skip the code and browse Swim $30 and Under and Deal Drop. $24 for a $69.50 trunk beats 15% off anything.
- Buying clearance and full-price together? Compare the final checkout total before splitting the order. Clearance items may be excluded from the code, but splitting the basket can also change your shipping cost.
