A knife makes a good gift for the person who already carries one every day, and the Viper Tec Knives discount code KNIFE30 takes 30% off everything on the site. It works on the small pocket knives, the bigger collector pieces and the three knife mystery bundles alike.
Viper Tec is a Miami knife maker known mainly for OTF knives, the kind where the blade slides straight out of the front of the handle. Every knife is made to order, so leave yourself some time before the holidays. Before you order, check the knife laws in the state you’re shipping to, because Viper Tec won’t send an automatic knife anywhere it isn’t allowed.

Viper Tec Knife Gifts Under $35 With KNIFE30
The mini OTF knives are the easy pick for a stocking or a small gift. They’re listed between about $29 and $49 right now, and KNIFE30 brings them down to roughly $20 to $34.
If you’d like a bit of a surprise, there’s also a single mystery OTF that starts at $17. With the coupon it comes to about $11.90, and neither of you will know which model shows up until the box is open.
OTF Knife Gifts Between $56 And $77 After The Discount
Most people buying a Viper Tec gift will end up in this range. The small and full size OTFs, including the Ghost and Phantom series, sit between about $80 and $110 before the discount:
- Small OTF knives: about $56 to $70 with KNIFE30
- Full size OTF knives: about $62 to $77
- Stiletto style OTFs: about $56 to $76
A small OTF suits someone who’ll keep it in a pocket every day. A full size one makes more sense for a collector who’ll want it on a shelf as much as on a belt. The everyday models mostly use D2 or 440C steel.
Switchblade And Hendrix Gifts Up To About $104
Viper Tec’s side opening switchblades run from $89 to $149, which comes to about $62 to $104 with the promo code. The top of that range is the Hendrix line, which uses titanium handles and M390 steel. For a collector who already owns a couple of everyday knives, a Hendrix piece is the step up.
Mystery Bundles Bring Each Knife Down To About $44
The bundles give the biggest saving per knife. A three knife OTF mystery bundle at $189 comes to $132.30 with KNIFE30.
That works out to about $44 per knife, less than a single small OTF costs with the same discount.
The EDC mystery bundle, also three knives, starts at $149 and should come to about $104 with the coupon, so roughly $35 a knife. A switchblade mystery bundle starts at $170, or about $119 after KNIFE30.
One bundle can also cover three people on your list, as long as you’re happy for the models to be a surprise.
How To Use The Viper Tec Knives Discount Code At Checkout
The cart in the screenshot below had the three knife OTF mystery bundle at $189, next to a $3.98 Free Returns & Package Protection add on. With KNIFE30 typed in, the order discount line took $57.89 off the $192.98 subtotal, and the total came to $135.09 before shipping. The coupon took 30% off the protection add on as well, bringing it to about $2.79.
To do the same, add your gifts to the cart and head to checkout. Type KNIFE30 into the Discount code or gift card box, press Apply, and check that the order discount line shows before you pay. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, JCB, Apple Pay and Google Pay all work.
Check The Recipient’s State Before Ordering A Knife Gift
Knife laws in the US change from state to state, and sometimes from one city to the next. Viper Tec’s own FAQ notes that some places allow you to own an automatic knife while limiting how you carry it, how long the blade can be, or who can buy one.
The shipping page puts the rule in capitals: OTF buyers have to check their state and local laws before buying. If an order can’t legally go to the address you give, the store won’t ship it, and it may charge a 10% restocking fee.
With a gift, the address that counts is the one the box is going to. If you’re shipping it to yourself to hand over later, check the rules where the person lives too. The store has an OTF Laws page that makes a sensible first stop, though it doesn’t replace checking your local rules.
When To Order Viper Tec Gifts For Christmas Delivery
On a normal week, Viper Tec ships within 24 to 72 hours, and most US deliveries take about 3 business days, sometimes up to 10. Around Black Friday and through December, the store asks for 3 to 10 business days just to process orders, before anything goes in the mail.
Add those together and a December order could take three weeks or more to arrive. Ordering by mid November keeps a Christmas gift well clear of that.
Warranty And Returns On Viper Tec Gifts
Viper Tec advertises a lifetime warranty on its knives, called the Viperlife Warranty. The FAQ adds that coverage depends on the product, when it was bought and what happened, so keep the order number somewhere the person can find it.
The $3.98 Free Returns & Package Protection item in the cart is a small amount to have in the order for a gift that might need swapping. If anything goes wrong, Viper Tec’s support team answers by email and on 877-4VIPER, on weekdays, and the newsletter at the bottom of the site sends word of the next sale and new releases.
