Right now, the Outrun the dark coupon code FIRST30 takes 30% off your order. Below, I’ve priced out a few of those designs with the code, so you can see what you’d actually pay before you check out.
Outrun the dark is a running apparel brand out of Charlotte, North Carolina, and it does one thing a little differently. Its hoodies and tees are built around short lines like Run It Off and Quiet The Noise. The brand also says 10% of its profit goes toward new ways to ease anxiety and depression.

Outrun The Dark Sorts Its Clothes By Message, Not Just By Size
Most stores make you browse by category. Here, you can shop by design instead, and every design is a short line printed on the clothes show. These are the ones you’ll see most:
- Run It Off
- Quiet The Noise
- Run More Worry Less
- Keep Going
- Forward Is A Pace
Each line comes on several pieces, from hoodies and sweatshirts to long sleeves and tees. So it’s easier to pick the message first, then the piece you want it on.
What Three Of Those Messages Cost With FIRST30
At checkout, the code took 30% off my whole cart:
- Cart before the code: $129.00.
- FIRST30: -$38.70.
- After the code: $90.30.
The prices below are worked out at 30% off what the site shows today. The code covered my full cart, but I didn’t run each of these through checkout one by one.
Run It Off
- Women’s Hoodie: $69, already marked down from $89, so about $48.30 with the code.
- Women’s Sweatshirt: $59, down from $69, so about $41.30 with the code.
Do Hard Things
- Women’s Sweatshirt: $69, down from $79, so about $48.30 with the code.
Outrun Signature
- Performance Tee: $45, so $31.50 with the code, in both the women’s and unisex fits.
The Run It Off hoodie is where you’d save the most. It’s $89 on the tag, and if the code stacks on the sale price, it comes down to about $48.30. Since that hoodie is already on sale, it’s the one to check first at checkout.
What “Gives Back” Actually Means Here
Outrun the dark says 10% of its profit goes toward new ways to ease anxiety and depression. The footer of the site puts it as 10% of profit donated to mental health research.
It’s 10% of the brand’s profit, not 10% of what you pay. Profit is what’s left after the company covers its costs, so the amount that goes to research from your order is smaller than 10% of the price. It’s still part of every order, though, coupon or not.
If you want to help beyond buying, the site also has a Support Us page.
Free Shipping Starts At $99, And Returns Are Free
US orders ship free over $99, and international orders ship free over $150. Returns and exchanges are free too, which helps if you’re not sure about a size.
One thing to keep in mind is that my $129 cart came to $90.30 after the code. That’s just under $99, so if the store counts the free shipping line after the discount, an order like that would pay for shipping. Adding a $45 tee would push it back over.
The site also has a rewards program and a student discount page, if either one applies to you. If one of these messages fits the way you run, start there, and add FIRST30 at checkout for the 30% off.
