Nanoleaf’s Spotlight Sale cuts up to 70%, and the 85 inch 4D TV kit costs the same as the 65 inch one. NANOLEAFAFF takes another 10% off sale prices. Its September Spotlight Sale is live on nanoleaf-me right now, and some cuts go as deep as 70%.
The sale page groups everything by product, which hides the interesting part. Sorted by price, it makes a lot more sense, so this goes from the cheapest item up. The deepest cut sits right at the bottom of the page, where most people never scroll. A 1 meter Essentials lightstrip expansion is $6.00, down from $19.99, which works out to 70% off.
It is clearance stock, so Nanoleaf will not restock it. If you already use Essentials strips somewhere in the house, it is worth grabbing two while the price is this low.

Is The HD Lightstrip Worth The Extra Money?
The Matter Smart Multicolor HD Lightstrip is $55.99, down 20% from $69.99. HD gives you more color zones along the strip, so gradients look smoother when you see it up close.
If the strip will be visible, say along a shelf edge or under a desk, the extra $16 is worth paying. If it sits hidden behind a TV and you only see the glow on the wall, the regular strip does the same job.
The Cheaper Holiday Lights Already Sold Out
The 300 LED Holiday String Lights are $74.99, half off the usual $149.99. There was also a 250 LED set at $59.99, but it has already sold out, which tends to happen with half price holiday lights. The 300 LED set works out better per bulb anyway.
With the main holiday season still ahead, these will probably drop again in November. It only makes sense to buy now if you want them up for October.
The 85 Inch TV Kit Costs The Same As The 65 Inch One
This is the strangest part of the sale. Two 4D TV kits are both priced at $79.99. The one for TVs up to 65 inches came down 20% from $99.99, while the one for TVs up to 85 inches came down 33% from $119.99.
So you pay the same for the kit that covers more. Buy the 85 inch kit even if your TV is smaller. The strip is longer, and on a 55 inch screen the extra length tucks along the back where nobody will see it. At these prices, there is no setup where the 65 inch kit is the better buy.
The V2 Kit Is The Only One That Did Not Get Cheaper
The 4D Screen Mirror Kit V2 covers TVs up to 65 inches and is still $99.99. Every standard and V1 version got a price cut, but V2 did not.
That means you would pay $20 more than the 85 inch standard kit for a newer camera and less coverage, which is not a good trade for most setups. My guess is that Nanoleaf is clearing older camera stock while holding the price on the new one, though the site does not say that.
A NANOLEAFAFF That Still Works On Sale Prices
Usually a discount code and a sale price cancel each other out. Nanoleaf’s own student discount even says it does not combine with other promotions, sales or codes.
NANOLEAFAFF worked anyway. On a cart that already had a sale item in it, the code took another 10% off the reduced price. On the 85 inch kit, that brings $79.99 down to roughly $72, for a kit that was $119.99 a few weeks ago.
Where To Enter The Code At Checkout
Most of the time when someone says a code did not work, they just could not find where to enter it.
On a laptop, the box sits in the order summary on the right side of the checkout page, under your items, and it says Discount code or gift card. Paste the code and click Apply. An Order discount line then shows up above the total, with Total savings underneath.
On a phone, the order summary folds up behind the total at the top of the screen. Tap it open first, or the box will not show.
A few tips that make it easier:
- Enter the code before your address, so you can see the new total right away.
- Log in before you check out. Signed in orders earn points, roughly 10 per dollar, that turn into vouchers later, while guest checkout does not.
- Add the code before tapping Shop Pay, PayPal or Google Pay at the top, in case any of them skip the code field.
Shipping costs only appear after you enter an address, so I could not confirm the free delivery threshold. Check it in your own cart before counting on it.
