Clearance at DICK’S runs up to 60% off through September 30, 2026. Apparel, shoes, outdoor gear.
No code works on it. Clearance items with markdowns already applied are excluded from every dicks sporting goods promo code the store has, so the tag price is what you pay at the register. Sounds like a catch. It mostly is not, since 60% off beats what any of those codes were going to give you.

What Gets Cut The Most Right Now
Fall clearance is the store moving out summer leftovers before winter stock lands.
- Running shoes get hit hardest, usually last year’s model once the new one shows up.
- Activewear, mostly summer weight stuff and odd colors.
- Sports gear for whatever season just ended, so baseball and golf.
- Outdoor equipment, but only discontinued models, not current ones.
Middle sizes go first. Mens 10, womens 8, those racks are picked over early.
60% Is The Top End
That number sits on part of the clearance section, not all of it.
Most of what you click into will be 30% to 40% off. The 60% tags are on stuff that has been sitting the longest, in sizes nobody grabbed. Still worth going through. Just sort by discount instead of scrolling from the top.
Two Deadlines, Not One
The sale ends September 30. That is the date on the banner. The one that actually matters is your size selling out, and that happens whenever it happens. Clearance here is end of run product. Once it goes, they are not ordering more.
So the usual “should I wait for a better price” question does not apply. The price is not dropping again before the 30th. The stock just runs out. Find your size at 50% off and that is your answer.
Points Still Work
Codes do not work on clearance. Points do. ScoreCard is free and 300 points gets you a $10 reward. You earn on clearance buys same as anything else, which makes it the one thing at this store that works no matter what you are buying.
Free 1 hour pickup also has nothing to do with the code rules. On clearance it is handy, since you see the thing before paying and shipping stops being a question.
If clearance is out of your size, the codes are back on the table for full price gear. KUI is $20 off select outdoor and fishing stuff, and signing up for texts gets $20 off orders over $100. Neither touches clearance, but on a full price rod or jacket they are the best you will do.
Shipping
Free standard shipping starts somewhere between $49 and $65 depending on your account and what is in the cart.
DICK’S Clearance prices being what they are, a cart can land under that pretty easily. Pickup fixes it when the store has your size. Otherwise check the shipping line before you decide you got a deal.
September 30 is a Wednesday, so a weekend order is already too late.
