OT15 takes an extra 15% off everything on DanceandSway, and a lot of the dance shoes and boots there are already marked down before the code goes on. Typing in the code is quick. Keeping the savings depends more on ordering the right size and leaving enough time, and the store’s 2,615 reviews say a fair bit about both.
Much of what DanceandSway sells is made to order, heels built in a chosen height from under 3.5cm to over 10cm and dresses sized to measure for Latin, ballroom, salsa, swing and more, so size and timing matter more here than at a regular shoe store.
They make a lot of what they sell to order. You’ll pick the heel height yourself, anywhere from under 3.5cm to over 10cm. They can also size plenty of the dresses to your measurements, which is lovely, as long as you’ve measured right.

How Much OT15 Takes Off A Sale Price
And yes, the banner calls it extra, so it should go on top of the sale price.
Take a pair of customized heel boots the store has already cut from $73.83 to $50.96. With OT15 on top, they should come to about $43.32. That’s close to 41% under where they started.
It adds up faster on the bigger pieces. Competition dresses run from about $310 to $568 here. 15% off one of those will save you somewhere between $46 and $85.
The Markdowns Already On The Shoes And Boots
Before the code even goes in, the shoes and boots have markdowns running anywhere from 6% up to 45%. A pair of glitter salsa shoes has come down from $82.16 to $46.80. Once OT15 is on, that should drop to about $39.78. One pair of leatherette dance boots went from $112.32 to $61.36. With the code, you’d be looking at around $52.16.
The store has over 2,600 reviews on its own site. The sizing ones are the ones to read before you pick a pair. This is what turned up while we were going through them:
- one buyer with wide feet went up a full size and could wear them straight away
- another went up half a size for her wedding heels
- someone with wide feet and wider calves said the boots had room in the toe and the shaft adjusted easily
Hmm, so if your feet run wide, going up is the safer bet.
How To Apply The Code At Checkout
It only takes a minute, but the order you do things in matters a little with custom pieces:
- Have a look at the size guide and the discount dance promo code sole guide on the site. Do it before anything custom goes in the cart.
- Pick your size and heel height, then add it to your cart.
- At checkout, type OT15 into the discount code box and hit apply.
- Check the total before you pay. The 15% should show up as its own line. If the total hasn’t moved, the code didn’t go through.
You’ll want to plan around delivery. If you scroll the reviews, you’ll see times all over the place. One dress showed up within a week, and one pair of shoes took three weeks. The store does seem to step in on custom orders though. One buyer picked the wrong dress size two weeks before a showcase. She got a message asking about her measurements, and they switched it to custom sizing in time.
So if there’s a competition or wedding coming up, tell them the date and give it three weeks at least.
Other Offers To Check Before Using OT15
A couple of other things are running on the site. For most people, the code will still come out ahead:
- Signing up for emails will get you 10% off a first order. That’s less than OT15, so you’d only use it once the code has gone.
- If you’re buying for a whole team or a dance class, ask about their group discounts first. The store lists those separately from the code.
- You can split the cost with Klarna or Afterpay at checkout. PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay and Amazon Pay work too.
Returns Are Open For 30 Days, But The Postage Adds Up
DanceandSway takes returns for 30 days, so a wrong size isn’t the end of the world. One buyer did have to send hers back for half a size up though. She said the return shipping wasn’t cheap. Depending on where you live, that postage could cost you more than the code saved on a $40 pair. So those few minutes with the size guide pay for themselves.
