Halloween Silent Disco At London Transport Museum, Covent Garden, Saturday 31 October 2026

Halloween Silent Disco At London Transport Museum

If you are in London this Saturday and want a Halloween night that is not a sticky club or a house party, the London Transport Museum on the Covent Garden Piazza is running its adults only silent disco on the night itself, 31 October, between the old buses and tube carriages.

One thing to get straight on the booking page, you are buying one session and not the night. The 6.30pm ticket does not get you in at 9.30pm, and the later slot does not let you in early, so pick the one that fits your dinner plan before you pay.

What Happens Inside

You get a pair of glowing headphones at the door and 3 DJ channels to flick between, the usual split being 80s, 90s and 00s with an indie channel in the mix, so half the room is singing one song and the other half another. The dance floor is the museum’s main hall, which means you are dancing next to a 1930s tube carriage and a red Routemaster, and that is the whole point of paying museum money for a disco.

There are bars dotted around the floor with Halloween cocktails on the list, and drinks are paid for separately, the ticket covers entry and the headphones only. Fancy dress is not on the ticket as a rule, but on 31 October in Covent Garden you will be the odd one out without it.

Getting There On Foot

The museum sits on the east side of the Piazza, so if you are already anywhere in the West End you do not need the Tube for this one. Leicester Square station to the museum door is about 5 minutes on foot along Long Acre, and Covent Garden station is closer than that but the lift queue on a Saturday night can take longer than the walk from Leicester Square would.

For the early session, the Seven Dials and Neal’s Yard lanes north of the Piazza are a 3 minute wander for a drink before 6.30pm. For the late session, Trafalgar Square and the Strand are 10 minutes away for food first, and after midnight the Night Tube runs on the Piccadilly line from Leicester Square and Covent Garden both, with night buses on the Strand.

A small local note, the Piazza itself goes heavy with Halloween crowds from about 8pm, so if you are on the 9.30pm slot give yourself 15 minutes more than the map says to get through it.

Who Runs It And What It Is Not

The night is put on by Iconic Silent Disco inside the London Transport Museum, it is not a museum exhibition and the galleries upstairs are not part of the ticket. It is a party with the museum as the room. Under 18s are not admitted at any time, with or without an adult, and the museum’s normal daytime hours on Saturday are a separate ticket.

Tickets go through See Tickets and Time Out, and last year’s night sold out on both before the day, so if you are reading this on the Saturday itself check for returns and fan to fan resale on the See Tickets page rather than turning up at the box office.

Early session for dinner after, or the late one for the proper Halloween crowd, which slot are you booking?
